Every sanctioned meet on Vault's 2026–27 calendar across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee: the biggest, the longest-running, the most fun, and where to find them.

USA Gymnastics groups states into eight regions, and Region 8 covers Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Region is the map most club gymnasts compete on: it decides which regional championships a gymnast heads to and, for Level 9, whether they go to the Eastern Championships.

This guide covers the 2026–27 season in Region 8, using the sanctioned meets listed on Vault's meet calendar. Meets link to their page on Vault, and to their official site wherever the host has published one. New to meets? Start with the ultimate guide to gymnastics meets.

How the Region 8 season builds

Most of the season is invitationals, hosted by gyms around the region. From there, gymnasts who reach the qualifying score head to their state championships, and the top finishers go on to regional championships.

For Level 9, Region 8 competes at the Eastern Championships, alongside the other eastern regions (5 to 8). Level 10 gymnasts can qualify on to national championships. Read more in types of gymnastics meets.
