Camps & Clinics · Summer 2026

Gymnastics camps & clinics: find your summer glow.

A week of gymnastics camp is the summer she talks about all year. This is every camp and clinic we can find, from across the internet and the gyms themselves, gathered in one place.

Why camp

What one week does.

Ask any coach: the athlete who comes back from camp is not quite the one who left.

01Confidence comes home with them.

Camp is where "I can't yet" turns into "watch this": the skill that transfers to school-year gymnastics, and to everything else.

02New coaches, new eyes.

A week with different voices unsticks plateaus regular practice can't. Sometimes one new drill is the whole breakthrough.

03Friends from forty gyms.

Camp friendships are the sport's secret retention engine. She'll trade drills and phone numbers with girls she'd otherwise only meet across a podium.

04Serious fun, safely run.

The best camps pair loud fun with quiet safety: certified staff, level-grouped rotations, standards a parent can see. Worth checking before you book.

Parent FAQ · A guide to camps

Fair questions, straight answers.

"Every camper is somebody's whole world."

What should I look for in a camp's safety and supervision?

Ask three things before you book: who is coaching, who is watching, and what happens if something goes wrong. Good camps answer easily: background-checked and safety-certified staff, campers grouped by age and level, controlled check-in and check-out, and a named lead coach responsible for each group all day. A camp director who welcomes those questions is usually running the kind of camp that never makes you ask twice.

How do I know a camp fits my gymnast's level?

Start with the level range on the listing, then read how the camp groups athletes once they arrive. The best camps evaluate everyone on the first morning and regroup by ability, so nobody spends the week bored or in over her head. When in doubt, her coach is the best judge, and camp directors will happily talk through where she'd land before you register.

What should she pack?

Leo and shorts, grips if she uses them, a water bottle, snacks, and more hair ties than seems reasonable. Most day camps and clinics need little beyond the usual practice bag, and camps typically send their own packing list at registration. When in doubt, pack it. No camper has ever regretted the extra leo.

Can parents usually watch?

Policies vary by host gym, so check each camp's page before you book. Most run open first and last sessions with a showcase at the end, the moment she shows you the skill that clicked, and some gyms are open-viewing all week. If watching matters to you, ask the camp director up front; it's a normal question and they expect it.

How do refunds and weather policies usually work?

Every camp sets its own policy, so read it before checkout. Most offer a credit or a transfer to another date if plans change, and weather closures are typically made up or refunded rather than lost. If a policy isn't posted, email the camp director and ask for it in writing. A clear answer up front is a good sign in itself.

She doesn't know anyone going. Is that okay?

It's more than okay: that's most campers on day one. Camps are built for exactly this: small groups, rotation buddies, and a shared week that turns strangers into teammates by the first lunch. Most campers arrive solo and leave with friends from forty gyms. Ask any camp parent: that part is the point.
