Word from the host

For more than 50 years, the Emerald Team Challenge has been one of the Pacific Northwest’s most anticipated gymnastics competitions. Hosted by the National Academy of Artistic Gymnastics (NAAG), this long-standing tradition has become a favorite for generations of athletes, families, and coaches. Known for its fun atmosphere, exceptional organization, and incredible awards, the Emerald Team Challenge is more than just a competition—it’s an experience. We strive to create a weekend where every gymnast feels celebrated, every family feels welcomed, and every coach enjoys a professionally run event. Whether you’re joining us for the first time or returning for another year, we can’t wait to welcome you to a meet filled with great gymnastics, lasting memories, and the spirit that has made the Emerald Team Challenge a family favorite for over five decades.
